Laura Porter
Director of Corporate Support
Laura Porter joined the WNIN Development Department in September of 2020 as the Underwriting Account Executive and is now the Director of Corporate Support. She comes to WNIN with more than 25 years of sales experience, many of those in radio and digital advertising. Her responsibilities include securing and working with underwriters for WNIN’s television, radio, and digital entities.
Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting at Western Kentucky University. A proud Army “brat” and former Army wife, she has been in the Evansville area since 1997. (That’s longer than she’s lived anywhere!) Her daughter, Whitney, is an Activities Assistant in a memory care facility and working towards her CNA. Laura has two grandkids, Emma and Paxton and granddog, Cole, the “ferocious” Chihuahua. They all live in Newburgh.
Over the years, she has served on the media teams for churches she has attended, running camera and creating graphics for worship services. She was also a board member for the Southwest Indiana chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
She vaguely remembers having time for hobbies. (See grandkids mentioned above.) As best she can remember, those hobbies included graphic design, music, travel, and reading.
