Producer/Director As Jason was finishing college with degrees in Graphic Design and Multi-Media, he walked into a local television station near his hometown of Ferdinand, IN, and told them that he wanted to edit video and make commercials. That day he was hired on to DCBroadcasting, Inc. as a part-time TV master control operator and a DJ for their sister radio station. A year later, Jason became Production Manager and stayed another 4 ½ years producing commercials and corporate projects, editing video and taping events.
Jason was happy for the opportunity to join WNIN in November of 2003 and move to the Evansville area. He always enjoyed watching shows like NOVA, Frontline and Austin City Limits, but admits to not knowing much more about Public Broadcasting before working there. He quickly appreciated the importance and quality of not only the programming, but the impact that WNIN has on the community through it's events and partnerships, and is proud of the work he has been able to do with The Early Childhood Development Coalition and other projects.
